Official Sports Bra Partner for Loughborough Lightning & Loughborough Sport
Loughborough Lightning Netball and Loughborough Sport is proud to announce its official partnership with sports bra experts boobydoo, championing postive breast health in elite performance sport.
The collaboration establishes boobydoo as the official sports bra partner for the three-time Netball Super League Champions and sports bra fitting and retail partner for the wider university campus.
The partnership will see all athletes and staff benefit from tailored educational workshops and professional sports bra fitting services from the boobydoo team.
This initiative directly aligns with the mission of Loughborough's recently launched, multi-million pound Women in Sport Research and Innovation Hub, which seeks to revolutionise the women's sport ecosystem through cutting-edge research, innovation, and game changing practice.

Netball demands a lot of rigorous movement, meaning a sports bra is a vital peice of kit that should not be overlooked. By focusing on the correct fit, boobydoo will ensure every player has the nescessary support to help them succeed at the top level.

The partnership will also extend to the entire Loughborough Sport campus. Throughout the year, boobydoo will deliver comprehensive education and fitting days, accompanied by exclusive offers for Loughborough staff and students. This ensures that every woman on campus, regardless of her level of sporting activity, can benefit from the same professional expertise and high-performance support as the Lightning Squad.

Loughborough Lightning Fitting & Workshop
In February 2026, the Booobydoo team travelled to Loughborough to deliver a specialist sports bra education and professional fitting programme for the athletes, ensuring they are equipped with the correct support solutions for training and competition throughout the season.
Our athlete workshop provides a structured session focused on sports bra performance, breast biomechanics, and breast health in sport. During the session, players openly discussed the challenges they experience with support, comfort, and performance. Each workshop is tailored to the specific demands of the team’s sport and age group, allowing us to provide practical guidance on key technical features such as support levels, encapsulation vs compression, strap structures, and fabric performance.
Following the workshop, every athlete participated in a one-to-one professional sports bra fitting assessment. Our fittings evaluate individual measurements, breast support requirements, and performance needs to ensure each athlete is wearing the correct size and appropriate level of support.
These fittings also provide athletes with the opportunity to trial a range of high-performance sports bras, demonstrating how fit, construction, and style vary across body types and support levels. The immediate impact of a correctly fitted sports bra is often significant, improving not only comfort and movement control but also helping athletes feel more confident and supported during performance.
